About Our Client
NHS based in the south of the country
The post holder will lead the provision of an efficient, effective and high quality professional and well-co-ordinated contract management service capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation.
To have overall responsibility for management and performance of the allocated contract portfolio, including high value (Tier 1/Level 1) acute contracts, for health services related to the CCG's areas as appropriate, and contracting for service specific contracts agreed with the Deputy Director of Provider Management.
Responsible for the overall management and performance of the contract portfolio for healthcare on behalf of all customers
Delivery of the contract management service in accordance with the contract management service specification, including the provision of reports for management boards and main boards as required.
Contract monitoring and performance management
- Ensure that contract monitoring and performance management of the contract portfolio is rigorous and effective.
- Develop the process and timetable for contract monitoring and performance management for relevant contracts.
- Develop the contract review process for the contract portfolio contracts and ensure this is in line with contract monitoring for other providers.
- Develop processes to ensure appropriate action is taken to understand and reverse adverse movement in contract activity/financial positions at the contract portfolio.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally suited to an individual who has considerable experience of Contract Management within an NHS environment.
What's on Offer
This role would be designated as being inside IR35 and will pay a maximum of £500 per day.
