About Our Client
Our client is an industry leader in providing key services to the Consumer Goods and Healthcare sector and they have a prominent presence in Asia. As a result of continuous interest to invest in Asia, there is a current need now to recruit a very experienced leader with a strong sales & marketing background to lead the Sales & Marketing Centre of Excellence team.
This role is a senior leadership role overseeing the group's sales & marketing strategy across their various business units. You will be responsible to set the direction and drive development, implementation and monitoring of sales and marketing excellence framework and service offerings to deliver business results and value to stakeholders. You will work closely with the country management teams to build and strengthen the sales and marketing operation for higher efficiency and effectiveness. You will formulate and implement programs and best practices to be shared across globally, and drive collaboration and learning opportunities across the sales and marketing functions.
The Successful Applicant
While the organisation is a market leader and functioning very well, this role remains a highly challenging and visible role in a growing business environment. The desired experience includes:
- A recognised university degree and/or Masters/MBA qualification
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a Consumer Goods/Healthcare industry of which recent years has been in a management capacity
- Proven sales and marketing track record in Asia
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in the principles of sales and marketing and the best practices
- Strategic leader with a 'hands-on' approach, and have the ability to demonstrate tenacity and resourcefulness
- Sound knowledge and skills in organizational change and business transformation
