Launch of San Francisco team
About Our Client
Our client is a Principal Investment arm of a global bank with currently over $10 billion in AUM. Since its inception, the team has invested more than $30 billion globally in direct investment across the capital structure. With continuous growth in their HQ, the group will be launching a West Coast team out of San Francisco and are looking to add a strong Investment Banking Analyst with 2-3 years of experience.
-Responsible for underwriting, due diligence, execution and management of investment positions.
-Activities include research on individual companies and industries, modeling and analyzing financial performance, qualitative assessments of businesses, structuring transactions, negotiating legal documents, and monitoring existing investment positions.
-Candidates would be responsible for managing deal teams and working closely with companies, counterparties and other team members to analyze and monitor investment opportunities.
-The expected career path would include 2-3 years of primarily execution responsibilities followed by a transition into a higher percentage of time spent on sourcing new opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
- 1-3 years of Investment Banking Experience (M&A, Leveraged Finance, Sector group)
- >3.5 GPA from a top-25 school, >3.7 GPA from a top-50 school
- Outstanding financial modeling abilities
- Green card holder or US Citizen
