In the top 20% of earners, men earn up to twice as much as women. Male financial managers make over £112,657 a year, female financial managers earn £67,685 - nearly £45,000 less than men. Male health professionals make £75,841 a year - more than twice as much as female health professionals in the same salary band who make £37,265.
