Job Description

  • Lead the strategy of our large enterprise clients, and partner with them to unlock their business growth by genuinely understanding their business and their challenges
  • Act as a trusted partner, assisting them navigating between brand's digital transformation vision and actualization through discussion, presentation, and workshop
  • Unearth insights around people and culture, translate the insights into an effective strategy that brings energy and inspiration to the clients' brands and businesses
  • Develop new business opportunities for Tokyo office, both in a leading and supporting role as leader of the wider commercial team
  • Partner with creatives, data analysists and architects to make ground-breaking work and give them interesting, unexpected ways to look at digital solutions
  • Lead and mentor an integrated strategy team
  • Use data, research, and insight to uncover areas of growth or digital experience firepower, and synthesize all of this into compelling narratives with business rigor
  • Drive digital and technological innovation with client stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • Typically, 10+ years of strategy experience that brings with it the ability to address complex branding/marketing/experience challenges, partner with clients and earn their trust
  • Superior presentation skills with the ability to persuade and inform, while maintaining digital industry standards and strategic point-of-view
  • Effective leadership and managerial skills. Can both inspire, train and mentor junior staff members in multi-lingual/cultural environments

  • Language proficiency: Native level Japanese plus competent to decent level English. Other languages are plus
