Job Description

The Financial Controller ANZ is reporting to a regional Finance Director, and working closely with the local leadership team, and Department Heads. The role includes the following;

  • Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans
  • Directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the company
  • Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues
  • Optimising the handling of banking relationships and initiating appropriate strategies to enhance cash flow
  • Managing and leading staff within the department
  • Monitoring and analysing financial data
  • Ensuring effective internal controls
  • Complying with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation

The Successful Applicant

A successful ANZ Financial Controller should have:

  • Qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in a senior management role within a finance department
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and business leadership
  • Experience in managing a large team
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, supported by strong analytical skills.
