Job Description

  • Project Management: Manage full project lifecycles from initial concept through to production handover, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with quality requirements.
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and support strategic manufacturing technology initiatives, establish new production processes and global standards, and drive factory expansions and greenfield projects.
  • Simulation and Design: Perform process simulations and design tooling and products to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Technology Development: Further advance 2k/3k Multi K (elastomer/metal/plastic) technologies, including automation, inspection, and assembly systems.
  • Project Initiation: Identify, propose, and execute manufacturing technology projects via the ME program to promote innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Material Optimization: Collaborate closely with material experts to optimize material processing for better product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Travel: Regular travel to global production sites is required for project coordination and on-site support.
  • Supplier Coordination: Align projects across TSS plants and external suppliers, driving supplier development and alignment with project objectives.
  • Documentation Standardization: Standardize project and process documentation to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Innovation Contribution: Develop and implement innovative processes for elastomer and plastics manufacturing to advance industry capabilities.
  • Process Improvement Tools: Apply project analysis methodologies including Six Sigma and lean manufacturing to boost process efficiency and performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful APAC Project Manager should have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes for rubber, plastics and LSR. Experience in injection molding and plastic rubber overmolding is highly desirable.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus.
  • Professional Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in sealing products manufacturing, with solid project management background.
