Main duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Supports the identification and assessment of potential mergers and acquisitions, including financial analysis, presentation creation, and conducting thorough due diligence.
• Builds and updates detailed financial models and valuation assessments to evaluate prospective acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Conducts research to analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for business expansion.
• Collaborates with both internal departments and external experts (such as legal, accounting, and consulting professionals) to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Aids in sourcing new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives.
• Prepares concise and informative reports and presentations for senior management, maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders.
• Works cross-functionally with teams like finance, legal, and operations to ensure cohesive and efficient execution of corporate development projects.

Please note that this role requires an occasional presence in-office, close to Hartford, CT. Ideally, 4 days/ week.
