Job Description

  • Provide legal advice and support on executive compensation, employment, and benefits matters.
  • Draft and review employment and compensation-related agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement compensation plans and employee benefit programs.
  • Advise on tax implications related to executive compensation and benefits.
  • Work on matters related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  • Research and analyze complex legal issues and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the professional services industry.
  • Support clients in audits and disputes related to compensation and benefits.

The Successful Applicant

  • JD degree and admission to New York Bar
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in executive compensation, employment, or benefits law.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax codes, ERISA, and securities law.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior associates.
