Job Description

  • Advise clients on complex restructuring and insolvency matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements related to restructuring cases.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations with creditors and other stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic guidance on financial restructuring and insolvency proceedings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to manage restructuring cases effectively.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and client consultations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and industry developments.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and foster strong client relationships.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admittance to the state bar in New York.
  • Extensive experience in handling complex restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency cases.
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines.
