Job Description

  • Manage and execute public M&A transactions in the technology sector from start to finish.
  • Advise clients on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft and review complex legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and disclosures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the technology sector.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients to help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Support business development initiatives by fostering client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Mentor junior associates and contribute to the overall growth of the legal department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Admission, and in good standing, to the New York Bar.
  • Demonstrated expertise in public M&A transactions, particularly in the technology sector.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
