About Our Client

My client is a leading Venture Capital law firm with offices in New York, Los Angeles and Princeton, representing both emerging companies and venture investors across the US and internationally. They currently have over 50 attorneys between three offices. Most of the attorneys' practices specialize in venture capital, merger & acquisitions, funds formation and private equity.

Pitchbook ranks my client in the "Top 10" in Venture Capital transactions, both nationally and globally. The firm's practice areas also include M&A exit transactions, corporate finance, fund formation, tax and executive compensation, intellectual property, litigation and entertainment law.

Job Description

You will guide both new and established funds through the process of structuring alternative assets. Clients include private equity, venture capital and hedge funds that seek expertise in fund formation and advice on issues pertaining to U.S. securities regulation, broker-dealers, investment companies, and investment advisors.

The Successful Applicant

Upwards of 5 years' experience practicing law within an investment fund or private equity group, preferably in a law firm setting. Must have JD, and be admitted to NY state bar.
