About Our Client

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing core business operations including customer services, energy metering, efficiency programs, external funding and digital initiatives. The position involves driving strategy, optimizing performance and ensuring financial and operational goals are met. It also requires strong leadership to develop teams, enhance business processes and represent the company in industry and regulatory engagements as well as international collaborations.

Job Description

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee business planning including annual budgeting, long-term financial forecasting and workforce planning
  • Manage operations across key areas: electricity distribution services and customer service, energy metering and meters' management, efficiency improvement, external funding as well as IT projects and digital transformation
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficiency, operational excellence and business alignment
  • Lead, inspire and develop teams fostering a culture of growth, engagement and high performance
  • Drive business results by holding teams accountable for their objectives while balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic goals
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and in discussions with regulatory bodies, key clients and suppliers
  • Engage in international collaborations, contributing to knowledge-sharing and cross-border initiatives
  • Define and enhance the organizational structure to optimize efficiency and business outcomes



The Successful Applicant

  • Comprehensive knowledge of power distribution technologies
  • 10 years of experience in managing large teams, including at least 5 years in an executive or director-level role within the energy sector
  • Familiarity with the Energy Law Act and regulatory principles governing electricity or gas system operators
  • Solid understanding of the energy market, including supplier switching procedures and grid connection processes
  • Background in customer service operations and satisfaction analysis
  • Proven experience managing field teams of electrical technicians while ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards
  • Skilled in overseeing large-scale IT system implementations
  • Strong grasp of corporate governance, commercial law and civil procedural regulations with practical application experience
  • Financial acumen including budget planning, cost forecasting and analysis in both Polish and international accounting frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a talent for fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, alongside well-developed negotiation skills
  • Experienced in leading, inspiring and managing teams effectively
  • Strategic mindset with a structured approach to decision-making
  • Results-driven with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving, performance analysis and implementing corrective measures
  • Resilient and able to thrive in high-pressure environments
  • Fluent in Polish and English; proficiency in German would be an additional asset
