As the business rapidly expand, the Client is looking for a visionary leader who is curious on how customer behaviors shapes the market to execute strategies, driving sales and profitability.

Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Director will ensure that the brand is delivering balanced, cohesive and commercial product ranges throughout all channels within the business. The key delivery includes driving strategies for the attainment of category growth in close partnership with key vendors and exclusive suppliers. Daily activities include but not limited to:

  • Establishing and managing relations with key suppliers to develop new programs that build categories, drive meaningful differentiation and build customer value.
  • Leading the team in negotiating with suppliers for other income based on the approved programs and activities.
  • Implementing strategic business development projects across categories especially those that will grow Sales participation.
  • Establishing plans and strategies that will drive market share and growth rate
  • Collaborating with Marketing to set strategic category priorities and ensure effectiveness of plans and with CRM to strengthen member participation.
  • Ensuring compliance to existing policies and regulations within the company as well as government-mandated licenses and regulations.
  • Coaching and engaging the trading team in driving success of sales and profit to company by focusing on listing good products, right prices and good promotion from suppliers to customers.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have proven experience in:

  • Sales, Marketing and Operations job function
  • Successful track records in the retail/brand management or Consumer Durable industry, preferably
  • Strong numerical skills, communication skills and comprehesive knowledge of Vietnam omni-channel landscape
  • Open for international talents with in-country experience and network. Local plus package is an option
