This position is responsible for leading the existing organisation and driving growth for a technical support division of a manufacturing organisation. The business provides, technical aftermarket services in the engineering sector. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, commercially minded business leader with proven turnaround and business growth experience.

Job Description

· Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve profitable growth.

· Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.

· Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the business unit.

· Lead and support cross-functional teams integrating with the manufacturing business to drive productivity and innovation.

· Identify market opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to grow the business.

· Maintain process compliance with industry regulations.

· Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

· Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business performance

.

The Successful Applicant

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

· A strong background in technical engineering support services.

· Proven ability to manage operations whilst delivering profitable growth.

· Excellent knowledge providing industrial services in the engineering support sector.

· Proven, commercial customer facing skills with a desire to develop new business.

· Strong financial acumen, experience handling budgets with P&L responsibility.

· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to analyse data and implement improvements.

· A degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
