The company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Business Head / General Manager to lead our US commercial operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring strong commercial execution, expanding channel access, and optimizing financial performance

A US-based branded pharmaceutical company focused on commercializing differentiated products via a targeted field sales organization and institutional sales. The company operates as a sales and commercial organization with a lean, virtual model and is supported by shared services provided by its parent company, an established pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing company. This structure enables efficient operations while supporting continued growth and expansion.

Job Description

* Own and deliver the full US P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, and financial forecasting

* Lead and support the sales function to drive sales performance and prescription growth

* Lead and support the market access function to expand payer coverage

* Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow revenue and market share

* Drive expansion within institutional channels

* Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and commercial performance management

* Collaborate with shared services teams supporting finance, analytics, supply chain, and operations

* Identify and execute opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness and business performance

* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and compliance standards

The Successful Applicant

  • 12+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Proven leadership experience in branded pharmaceutical commercial roles
  • Experience managing sales and market access functions
  • Prior P&L ownership or business unit leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with LTC or institutional channels preferred
  • Experience in specialty pharma, branded generics, or lean commercial organizations preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred Ideal
