About Our Client
Our client is a renowned regional energy management company that enjoys an excellent reputation with clear market leading status. With the backdrop of increasing awareness on ESG from its target audience group (both b2b and b2c), there is a clear growing demand on new/sustainable energy solutions.
As a result, they are now searching for a seasoned business leader, to bring their up-and-coming business segment to the next level.
Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, this executive role will be responsible for one of their core business units in sustainable energy domains.
Leading a team of 15-20 staff with a well-structured team setup, this position is required to ride on the fairly strong foundation of the business presence to further scale up the business by leveraging on available data and emerging technologies.
Being the "strategic brain" of the business, you will be analysing the market trend, consumer behaviour and preference in order to define and enhance product offering, value proposition and think of creative ways on potential partnership opportunities within the sustainable energy ecosystem.
Furthermore, you will be potentially looking at investment and M&A opportunities across the region too on top of its organic growth strategies.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you should be a proven business leader in running successful business operation in consumer-facing technology platform with solid track record. Prior new/sustainable energy experience is a plus.
Prior engineering academic background will be preferred. Regional/international exposure will be beneficial while you should be able to leverage on data and emerging technology to come up with a long term "game plan".
You need to be comfortable working in a fast moving yet evolving and ever-changing environment.
Previous investment background in related field will be a bonus in line with the company's regional expansion plan.
