Job Description

  • Communicate and champion the Vision, Mission, Operating Principles, and Strategies of the Company to team members and other internal/external clients.
  • Lead continuous improvement of Safety, Quality, Security, and Environmental Programs with involvement from staff to ensure the safety, quality, security, health and well-being of team members, products and customers
  • Ensure capital execution processes are in place in each plant and projects are executed on time and within budget
  • Implements clear budgeting processes and effective P&L Management and financial reporting
  • Leadership for implementing reports and controls to manage operations in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Manage the achievement of key performance indicators by tracking results versus targets for safety, quality, labor efficiency, customer satisfaction, cost/case, productivity, and cost contribution management. Analyzes trends and develops opportunities or resolves inefficiencies.
  • Promote a good work environment through the development of effective employee engagement strategies including communication plans to lead monthly operational review meetings with staff.
  • Identify and create individual development plans in collaboration with direct reports to enhance future career opportunities
  • Work with direct reports to develop stretch goals for the achievement of corporate, divisional, local and personal goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or other technical field is required. Master of Business Administration is desired. Extensive experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in leading commercial functions and the ability to manage & develop budgets
  • Knowledge of Capital planning & management
  • Experience in leading continuous improvement processes
  • Ability to identify, develop and lead talent through coaching, performance management and talent development activities
  • Knowledge of Environmental and Safety practices and industry regulations
  • Ability to analyze and manage Business plans
  • M&A exposure and business integration
