Job Description

1. Capital Markets & Market Cap Management

  • Develop and execute a capital markets and market capitalization strategy aligned with long-term value creation.
  • Manage investor relations, including institutional investor relationships, analyst communication, roadshows and results announcements.
  • Shape and refine the company's equity story, ensuring it reflects business fundamentals and future growth levers.
  • Monitor valuation drivers, peer trends, market sentiment and share performance to assess risks and opportunities.
  • Advise on capital structure, financing options, timing of transactions and external communications.

2. Group Finance & Operations

  • Oversee FP&A, accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, internal controls and compliance.
  • Build a technology-enabled finance function with strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
  • Drive budgeting, long-range planning and performance management, ensuring alignment with growth priorities.
  • Maintain strong cash flow, liquidity and working capital practices; manage external financial institutions.
  • Enhance finance processes, systems and controls to support future expansion.

3. Strategic Partnering

  • Partner with the CEO and executive team on corporate strategy, investments, partnerships and M&A.
  • Provide financial insight across new business opportunities, product expansion and geographic development.
  • Support M&A execution, including modeling, valuation, due diligence and integration planning.
  • Translate strategy into clear financial KPIs and performance measures.

4. Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant listing requirements, accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Oversee key financial risk areas with appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate with the Board and audit committee on governance topics.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability and ethical financial management.

The Successful Applicant

Background & Experience

  • 15+ years in finance, investment banking or capital markets, with strong exposure to publicly traded environments.
  • Experience in investment banking (ECM/M&A/TMT/healthcare), or a blend of banking plus corporate finance/CFO experience.
  • Experience in technology, internet, platform or digital businesses preferred; exposure to health-tech or insurance is beneficial.
  • Strong track record in valuation, capital markets engagement and investor communication.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing a complex finance organization, including FP&A and controllership.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong strategic and commercial thinking, linking operations with capital markets expectations.
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation and analytical abilities.
  • Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with experience establishing scalable finance processes.
  • Clear and concise communication abilities in English and Mandarin (preferred).
