Job Description
- Assuming a prominent role in spearheading and monitoring new (business-driven) initiatives, aligned with the strategic plan, to enhance returns and provide internal and European Group reporting.
- Collaborating with the CEO and CTO in the process of mergers and acquisitions: identifying acquisition targets, conducting negotiations, analyzing opportunities and risks, and overseeing the acquisition and integration processes.
- Ensuring the financial stability of the organization by focusing on robust business operations, effective management of the balance sheet and working capital, promoting cost-consciousness, and driving the professionalization of internal processes.
- Taking charge of the planning and budgeting process of the organization, fostering a constructive and transparent relationship to strike a balance between ambition, reality, and feasibility.
- Monitoring compliance with SOX regulations to ensure strong internal control and accurate financial reporting.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Finance organization, overseeing performance, fostering employee growth, and ensuring the progress and quality of work. This includes integrating acquired activities seamlessly and cultivating a departmental culture that prioritizes delivering high-quality service consistently.
The Successful Applicant
- Seasoned Chief Financial Officer with extensive financial accountability, managerial expertise, and a business-oriented mindset within a similar industry or environment (such as branch company, retail, wholesale, goods flow, or logistics).
- Demonstrated track record in successfully executing M&A projects.
- Proficient in working with international organizations, whether listed or within the Private Equity sector.
- Exhibits strong leadership skills and possesses the ability to coach and mentor others.
- Possesses analytical prowess, tactfulness, proactivity, autonomy, openness, creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, responsibility, and decisive decision-making abilities, with a solid grasp of figures and conceptual understanding.
