About Our Client
My client is a highly reputable, privately owned professional services group with a range of services and a High Net Worth client base. They have experienced rapid growth and are continuing to diversify with strategic hires in a number of key areas.
Job Description
The CFO will have the following remit:
- Accountability for P&L and responsibility for providing high quality financial information to the CEO
- Leadership and management of a finance team of around 10
- Responsibility and analysis of working capital within the business
- Investment appraisal and assessment of commercial growth opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing evidence based decision making to put the business on a firm financial footing
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with a high degree of intellectual pedigree, who has operated as a Finance Director or CFO in an SME environment of £100m turnover or below
- Experience in a finance leadership role within a Professional Services, B2B or Family Office environment
- Track record of being a trusted business partner to an MD or CEO
- High level of commercial acumen
- Strong leader of people with credibility at all levels of an organisation
