About Our Client
Our client is a SGX listed organisation and also part of a larger multinational group with strong international footprint. They are a leader in their line of business, and continues to further expand through innovation and diversity. To get to this ambition and next stage of growth, there is a need to find a strategic CFO to be the forefront of this transformation and expansion plan.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be overall responsible to provide leadership in all aspects of finance and corporate governance. As part of the executive management team, this role acts as a senior business partner to the CEO and rest of the senior management team in the various countries to drive the strategic growth plans of the company. As the company is heading to its next phase of growth and transformation, you will closely monitor and drive financial performance to ensure it is align with overall objectives. Leading a sizeable team, you will provide mentorship and coaching for the continuous development of the finance function. You will also review the current structure to ensure it is effective and sustainable for the growth and development of the company.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you are a degree qualified CPA/CA with extensive relevant experience, of which the recent years of experience would be in a regional leadership capacity in a progressive organisation. You should have a demonstrated track record in your ability to lead a sizeable team, act as a good business partner in a leadership role and have experience in driving finance transformation projects. You are detail-oriented, highly analytical and has a strategic and commercial mindset. Strong influencing and relationship building skills would be key. Experience gained in a complex project management or construction environment would be essential to the success of this role. You are also required to have strong understanding of SGX reporting and compliance requirements, and experience in M&A. Ability to converse in Mandarin due to operations in China is key.
