The client are a global business looking for the Chief Financial Officer to lead their North American operations. It is a key Executive Role based on-site 5 days a week.Job DescriptionThe Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the following:Financial Leadership & StrategyDevelop and execute financial strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.Partner with the NAM CEO and executive team to set and achieve financial and operational goals.Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support strategic decision-making.Analyze financial performance and provide insights to improve business performance.Accounting & ComplianceOversee all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and tax laws.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Implement strong internal controls and financial governance to safeguard company assets.FP&A & Demand PlanningLead financial planning & analysis (FP&A) to drive business insights and optimize profitability.Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to enhance demand planning and inventory management.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend strategies for improvement.Tax, Treasury & Risk ManagementDevelop tax strategies to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax laws.Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and capital allocation strategies.Manage relationships with banks, investors, and external financial partners.Assess and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and credit risks.Technology & Digital TransformationOversee financial systems and IT infrastructure to improve operational efficiency.Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance automation and data analytics capabilities.Ensure cybersecurity and data protection measures are in place.Legal & ComplianceOversee legal affairs, including contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.Work with external legal counsel to manage risk and ensure adherence to industry regulations.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related fieldMBA or CPA preferred15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in the CPG or Manufacturing industry.Language: fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) EssentialExperience managing multiple financial functions, including accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and demand planning.Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.Experience working with ERP systems and finance-related technology solutions.Knowledge of SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and corporate governance best practices.What's on OfferThe Chief Financial Officer will receive the following:Base Salary: $230,000 - $300,000Bonus eligibility, target: 30 - 40%Executive Benefits package including and not limited to:401k planInsurance: Health, Dental, VisionCar allowanceTechnology allowanceNational Days vacationOpportunity for future global career growthIf you would like to learn more and have the qualifications for the position, please submit your resume for further consideration.ContactChristopher KnightQuote job refJN-032025-6697231Job summaryFunctionCFO & Financial ManagementSubsectorCFO & Financial Management SubsectorIndustryConsumerLocationBostonContract typePermanentConsultant nameChristopher KnightJob referenceJN-032025-6697231
