This role is responsible for managing operations, settlements, clearing, custody, and client on boarding (CDD/KYC), while driving operational excellence and risk management.

Job Description



  • Operational Leadership:
    • Lead and manage all back-office and middle-office operations, including trade processing, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation.
    • Ensure timely and accurate execution of securities transactions across all asset classes.


  • Risk & Compliance:
    • Oversee client due diligence (CDD/KYC) processes in line with local and international regulations.
    • Implement robust operational risk management frameworks and internal controls.


  • Process Optimization:
    • Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
    • Establish and monitor KPIs for operational performance and client service standards.


  • Regulatory & Audit:
    • Ensure compliance with SEC, SET, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
    • Liaise with regulators and auditors on operational matters.


  • Team Management:
    • Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief Operating Officer (COO) should have:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.


  • Experience:
    • Minimum 15 years in operations within securities brokerage, investment banking, or financial services.
    • Strong background in settlement, clearing, custody, and CDD/KYC processes.
    • Proven track record in managing large teams and complex operational environments.


  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of Thai capital markets and regulatory landscape.
    • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
