As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will lead the continuous transformation of a promising brand within one of Poland's largest retail networks. This role presents a significant opportunity to drive growth and profitability by unlocking our organisation's inherent potential.

Your main responsibility will be to orchestrate strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, elevate the customer experience, and bolster market position. By closely aligning with the company's vision, your goal will be to introduce innovative solutions that cater to evolving consumer needs while maximising our operational strengths.

Job Description

  • Drive sustainable and profitable revenue growth through effective management of stores, promotions, assortment, and pricing.
  • Lead brand development through acquisitions and organic openings of new locations.
  • Strengthen the brand's commercial policy in alignment with brand identity and annual budgets.
  • Transform the brand towards enhanced self-service, competitive pricing, and increased sales point productivity.
  • Enhance the brand's expansion strategy, emphasising digital and e-commerce channels.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets meticulously.
  • Maintain comprehensive reporting on activities and key performance indicators.
  • Represent the brand as needed, adhering to Board and Group policies, with stakeholders like suppliers, advertising agencies, and media.
  • Analyse and optimise the retail chain business model to achieve positive cash flows, reduced inventory, and improved margins.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 10 years of experience in retail, including 5 years at an executive management level. Experience with the franchise model is a significant plus.
  • Solid experience in procurement, operations, marketing, and development.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to effectively report both vertically and horizontally.
  • Strong analytically skills and the ability to communicate and share information effectively.
  • Passion for retail, leadership abilities, and a positive energy.
  • Openness to others and strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Honest and leads by example.
  • Humility and flexibility in action, with a readiness to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in English and perfect command of Polish.
