Our client is a rapidly growing and one of the most exciting tech automotive start-up.

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, this role sits on the leadership team. An initial hands on approach to gain a full appreciation of the current situation you will then begin implementing your own ideas and strategy for short , medium and long term improvements to deliver sustained success.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • To build, manage and optimise our rapidly growing physical platform
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures across our physical platform
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth across our physical platform
  • To build regional IRCs (inspection and reconditioning centres) across Turkey
  • To manage our 3P and O&O logistics / last mile delivery network to ensure all consumer facing promises are met
  • To actively manage all OPEX and CAPEX across our physical platform ensuring economies of scale and operating leverage to maintain best in class efficiencies
  • Define the tech and tools requirement, act as internal biz owner of OpsTech road-map working closely with PMs and the CTO
  • Codify the approach and drive best practice across all geographies
  • Hire and develop the best, lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Ensure a data driven approach to everything
  • Review and edit the playbook for international expansion
  • Promote our culture and vision within all teams globally
  • Participate in expansion activities (Investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Participate in investor relations and fund-raising activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be an existing and successful Supply Chain and/or Operations Director.

  • Experience in operating and influencing at a strategic level
  • A credible leader with a proven ability to lead and influence colleagues from the shop floor to the boardroom with gravitas and impact
  • A hands-on operator, builder
  • Able to lead from the front, experience of being in the field, living in the weeds
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and operational excellence
  • Exemplary team and capabilities builder
  • Experience in fundraising
  • Written and fluent English is compulsory
  • Ability to provide a high level of English both verbal and written communication including analytically presentation
