Job Description
- Set up and develop the new business from ground up (full P&L responsibility), which will initially involve a target of opening up outlets in the country
- Implement the business plan and meet set milestone targets
- Act as key domestic liaison with all stakeholders including, employees, mall owners, suppliers, service providers and other parties
- Build a strong team encompassing retail outlet management (implementation of the structural outlet set up), which will include such functions as: finance, warehousing, human resource and logistic, to support the rapid growth of the business
- Work together with shareholders to obtain all necessary business licenses and meet outlet opening targets from year to year in the country
- Coordinate the efforts of the business development, set up of the local management, finance, human resource, logistics and other relevant departments, in order to achieve the agreed targets
- Set appropriate goals for senior team members based on company policy
The Successful Applicant
- University degree
- Languages: fluent Polish & English spoken and written as a must; additional languages nice to have
- More than 10 years of experience in progressive operations roles, including senior managerial level gained in international companies (highly competitive commercial & retail environment)
- Experienced in setting up and managing a multiple store system over 200 stores
- Substantial track record of rapidly and profitably growing a retail chain
- Must know how to navigate government bodies and compete with existing big retail players
- Demonstrated ability to lead, engage and orchestrate highly qualified teams; The ideal candidate can work bottom-up through people due to his / her inspirational leadership style
- High energy, charismatic, action-oriented personality who can build, inspire and motivate a team in an evolving environment by managing the performance of others giving clear accountability by rewarding success and coaching and developing others to high standards
