Job Description

The delivery process includes intake of business use cases; analysis of current state data and processes; design of conceptual data models; liaison with the Reference Data Chief Data Architect to agree logical models; design and delivery of technology solutions working with project managers, product owners, technology and operations teams.

The successful incumbent will lead strategic solution and design for party, role and relationship data informed from Business use case gathering, with focus on delivering business value, responsibilities include:

· Define the strategic conceptual party data model and the linkage of this data with accounts

· Work with the Reference Data Architect to translate conceptual model into an agreed logical data model

· Lead senior stakeholder meetings including preparation and presentation of data models and solutions

· Support the adoption of the strategic party and account reference data model from on-boarding to downstream business processing, working with cross-functional teams

· Develop business cases as needed for prioritisation of technology build or enhancements and manage the annual budgeting process for party, role and relationship requirements

· Manage the Data Model and Design team (14 resources, including 4 team leads) setting clear direction and driving performance of the team, ensuring regular development feedback and career guidance

The Successful Applicant

· Bachelor's degree and significant experience in delivering technical and/or operational change

· Knowledge of client data and account reference data and client onboarding processes

· Ability to understand logical data models and work with data architects to translate conceptual models to logical models

· Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way: "tell a story" with data

· Strong time management skills, efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high-level standard

· Knowledge of Markets and/or Securities Services businesses

· Excellent relationship management, team leadership, influencing skills

· Confidence in communicating internally at all levels

· Experience of Product Management and Agile disciplines

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

· PowerPoint and Visio skills

· Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with changing and multiple priorities
