Job Description

  • Focus on clinical development strategy for metabolic disease programs, particularly insulin therapies and obesity treatments.
  • Oversee the design and execution of clinical trials (Phases I-III), ensuring regulatory compliance and scientific rigor.
  • Work with regulatory affairs teams to interact with the FDA, Europe Medicine Agency, and other global regulatory agencies.
  • Provide medical and scientific insight for clinical study design, endpoint selection, and trial execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, medical affairs, and commercial teams to drive strategic development and market positioning.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring innovative and clinical strategies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Clinical Development Vice President should have:

  • More than 10+ years of experience in clinical development, with a strong focus on insulin and metabolic disease indications (diabetes, obesity, etc.).
  • Proven expertise in designing and executing global clinical trials, particularly in the USA and Europe.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements for metabolic disease drug development (FDA, Europe Medicine Agency, etc.).
  • Experience working in cross-functional, cross-culture and cross-region teams.
  • Location: Remote or hybrid, flexible within the USA or Europe.
