Job Description

Own delivery at a country level of revenue and profitability objectives of Clinical Solutions in Greater China

Define and agree overall business and financial objectives and plans for the segment and key products together with key stakeholders

Lead in annual business planning process and plan for sales targets and operation costs

Be the voice of the business in all business reviews and take corrective business actions where needed

Partners with eSales team to ensure successful commercialization of strategic local products and overall CS solutions in GC

Evangelize and lead the CS product vision and objectives to stakeholders

Act as the " messenger of the GC Clinical Solution market", analyze various customer segments, user scenarios and choose the good ones to pursue with the alignment of global strategy

Maintain a solid knowledge of user scenarios to understand customer needs, requirements, and potential solutions

Lead and manage the strategy, product, and portfolio life cycle to drive penetration and exceed revenue goals for CS solutions in GC

Identify and develop new business opportunities, leveraging global/regional platforms wherever appropriate, to meet local needs (including the delivery of the business cases, allocating resources, set product pricing, go-to-market approach)

Contribute to the overall GC segment (and country Health Markets) business strategy (across formats: electronic and print) through knowledge of market and industry, customer needs and available technologies

Responsible for the clinical solution product lifecycle management, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining product vision and working closely with technology and content teams to deliver winning products

Bring detailed eye for user experience and design to ensure features drive high adoption and customer love

Advocate for the product vision, build product roadmap, interact with customers to collect feedback, and drive for innovation ideas and solutions through decisive actions

Manage product planning, assess product development sprints, define, and monitor product metrics and drive enhancement opportunities

Know why we are winning and losing in the market and drive changes to our product (including processes and pricing) to create improvement

Nurture and grow partnerships externally and internally to continue to build CS solution products to better server customer needs in GC

Develop GTM plans including market research, positioning, value proposition, segmentation and messaging that will resonate with targeted customer based on deep market and customer insights

Define commercial, pricing and partnership strategy for clinical solution products with close alignment with sales

Partner with marketing and sales to create and execute commercial launch plans for new products and/or new update, sales enablement plans, SME endorsement and/or customer evidence programs

Identify new/optimal sales and marketing channels and support delivery, working with sales and marketing teams

Organize and drive diverse cross functional teams to create product, technology, and service/solution on schedule and within budget

Ensure clear local product/business processes and accountabilities are in place aligned with regional/global approaches (e.g., customer insight gathering, roadmaps and prioritization, issue escalation/resolution) for smooth operation while global priorities and decisions aligned with local customer and market demand

Prepare for executive business reviews, update, and present business analysis regularly, and drive for continuous improvement via strong passion and deep insight

Serve as key person for segment workflows, driving strategic alignment with internal stakeholders, global and local teams and directly with key partnership and customers

Build and develop and high performing product manager team by hiring, engaging, developing, and coaching talented and motivated employees

Inspire and motivate cross functional team members from technology, content, marketing, sales, finance, operations, and global products etc. working toward shared goals for the success of clinical solution business in GC

Drive efficient collaboration with global CS team and local HS team
