About Our Client

Our client is a global production company acting in the building materials business. They manufacture and supply a diverse range of superior building materials and products. We are supporting them in hiring the best talent for a position in the financial department. The person in the role will act as Cluster Business Controller, focusing on financial analysis, reports, and presentations for key stakeholders. The person will be responsible for two countries and provide projects to the whole East Cluster.

Job Description

  • The working language will be primarily English
  • Preparing consolidated reports, commentaries, financial analyses, and presentations for key stakeholders as part of regular monthly reporting processes and upon ad hoc requests
  • Liaising with Cluster FD, SVP, and Operating Company Finance Teams in budget preparation, forecasting, strategic plan preparation, impairment testing, and other processes throughout the year
  • Collation of data for quarterly briefing notes process, Annual Report, and other processes
  • Supporting the performance improvement aspect of the Finance's role through KPI, performance bridge, and other reporting cycles
  • Taking responsibility for controlling two countries
  • Supporting countries in saving initiatives development, consolidation, and workstreams reporting.

The Successful Applicant

  • 4-5 years of experience in a controller role in the production sector is a must
  • Ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders in an effective manner
  • Flexibility in re-prioritizing, able to work under time pressure, drive for results
  • Ability to analyze/validate financial data
  • ACCA or other prof. qualification is needed
  • Strong analytical skills, lateral thinking, and ability to make high-quality timely decisions
  • Ability and desire to work internationally (business travels - 1-2 days per month)
  • Ability to communicate effectively. Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English (C1 level is a minimum)
  • Knowledge of one of the East European languages as an advantage
