About Our Client
The company is a Belgium family business in the Wine and Champagne distribution / Retail established since several generations with a strategy dedicated to quality and high level of services. They hold their own retail shops and deliver their wines to the main quality hotels and restaurants in the country
As a Commercial Director your missions will be mainly focused on the following responsibilities :
Lead a commercial team of 15 persons: vendors dealing with on-trade (HORECA), B2B and distributors but also vendors located in the own retail shops
Definethestrategy and the action plan for the acquisition ofnew clients and theretentionofexisting clients throughtheactual and future sales channels
Defin objectives, follow up the performance and ensure the complete recruitment cycle (recuit, train, develop and retain)
Run the operational activities for the different sales channels including the implementation of a performance mindset and a spirit of operational excellence.
Attend commercial and promotional events.
The Successful Applicant
You have between 10 to 20 years of experience in a successful sales responsibility within the following sectors : gastronomy, wine and liquor, luxury goods, luxury food, or the art of the table.
We are open to candidates with a succesful experience in sales team management in different sectors but passionate by the wine sector.
You are dynamic, proactive, with great inter-personal skills; have a successful experience dealing with competitive environment.
You organize and define the short or long term strategy while keeping a strong operational vision and develop your own commercial activity.
With very strong communication skills and strength of convictions, you will animate a young commercial team. You are curious, flexible and highly operational.
Bilingual in French and Dutch.
