About Our Client
Our client is a leading global apparel brand
The role of the Commercial Director is accountable for the development and execution of the Wholesale Own & operated and Distributors strategy, such that:
Trends and developments in consumer behaviour and the retail market are acknowledged and translated;
Operational business/commercial information is analyzed and fact-based strategic choices are made on sales focus and efforts, prioritizing and targeting markets, channel management and business models/distribution;
The Wholesale Own & operated and Distributors commercial strategy is cohesive and build up in close cooperation and by integrating relevant insights from all other disciplines;
A fitted Wholesale Own & operated and Distributors commercial strategy is created and approved by the CEO and further developed and is being executed according to the appointments made.
Contributes to the organization as a Executive management team member of the Board
The Successful Applicant
You will be a successful Wholesale / Commercial / Sales Director in a Global apparel brand. You will also have a:
Master/University Degree with a thorough orientation on the retail industry (in comparable business models and/or fashion)
Specific broad expertise on commercial strategy and leadership/management roles, demonstrating increased levels of responsibilities.
Ability to stay on top of relevant (market) developments.
Fluent knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel internationally
