Their next Controller will lead the United States finance function while supporting strategic leadership across the business.

Job Description

Reporting into the Group Finance Director (overseas), this role combines financial control, team leadership and strategic partnership. The Financial Controller will lead the US based accounting team, strengthen internal controls, ensure accurate reporting and support the commercial and operational decision making. The position requires strong technical accounting experience, an analytical mindset and the ability to work closely with international stakeholders in multiple timezones. Main duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Lead, develop and mentor the accounting team and oversee department performance
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure full GAAP compliance
  • Prepare monthly financial statements across PNL, balance sheet, cash flow and KPIs
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior leadership
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Oversee royalty accounting, compliance requirements and financial policies
  • Partner with external auditors and support tax and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with international teams on intercompany reporting and systems development

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of relevant accounting experience,
  • Team Management experience
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and experience overseeing AR, AP, inventory management, income statements and cash flow
  • Excellent communication skills and strong organizational capability
  • Proactive, analytical and comfortable improving processes and systems
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience with financial modeling preferred
