We are working with a privately owned SME experiencing huge growth, based in the South East with subsidiaries in China, Japan, and the US. They develop, manufacture, and distribute goods in the Sports and Leisure sector. Job Description

  • Collaborating with the Managing Director on implementing the details of the strategy, leading, and implementing projects across the business.
  • After a period of rapid growth, seeking and implementing organisational improvements and processes.
  • Strategic planning.
  • Responsible for commercial, legal, and partnership contracts.
  • Ownership of legal work, liaising with commercial and product legal partners.
  • Organisational compliance, risk assessment, and overseeing statutory requirements.
  • Project management.
  • Operational efficiency.
  • Executive support.
  • Performance monitoring.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and designing bonus or incentive schemes.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Solid background in the consumer goods sector, with a strong understanding of industry trends and challenges.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, offering the operational insight required for this role.
  • Exposure to working with Far East connections-such as sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing partnerships-is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and implement practical solutions.
  • Proven experience in supporting senior executives, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
