Senior Communication Specialist Role
About Our Client
Our client is a growing FinTech start-up with great reputation in the market. Run and operated by a number of senior banking veterans, they now want to further specialise by bringing in a senior communication specialist to the team.
Reporting to Regional Head of Marketing and Communication, you will be either based in Hong Kong or Singapore, responsible for driving overall communication strategies across their APAC group. Starting off as an individual contributor with full internal and external support, you will be having a key focus on building media relations, executive communications, speech writing, giving full media brief as well as dealing with potential issue managements. With the growing staff size, you will also start building a more effective internal communication channels for the corporate too by working closely with operation, marketing, tech and HR etc.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate needs to be from financial service industry background. International exposure (ideally beyond Asia) will be a big plus. You need to be able to have high level helicopter view but at the same time be hands-on given the start-up nature. Proven track record to partner/work with senior executives is critical and you need to demonstrate your ability to build relationship with media (especially financial media).
