Job Description

Owns the execution of long-term strategy and the operational direction for HR ASIA, typically for a business of regional size and scope. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.

This position manages a large team of experienced professionals and team leaders in the Human Resources Generalist discipline, implements HR programs and strategies, manages employee utilization across all HR activities, and champions HR improvement initiatives. Oversees HR metrics and HR investigations and helps to resolve Talent and Performance Management and Labor and Employee Relations issues.

Collaborates with business unit, department, and functional leadership to communicate and implement HR activity and programs that support business goals and drive bottom line results.

Implements human resources strategies focused on increasing employee engagement and retention rates. Leads people integration during and post M&A processes (divestiture, separation, integration).

Manages employee resource utilization across assigned HR activities and client groups. Initiates and champions continuous improvement/lean initiatives for an assigned HR group to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources management.

The Successful Applicant

A strong HR Background with comparable previous experience in overseeing HR function.
Ideally experience in multi-national and regional environments, across multiple Asian geographies.
A strong understanding of multiple HR practices (recruitment, Comp & Ben etc) and HRIS.
Significant experience in change and transformation at local and regional level, with strong influencing skills.
Proven experience in driving change though transformation projects for various HR topics (e.g. operating models, new systems, strategy or transitional change).
Excellent leadership and team management skills, including managing team for performance, feedback and coaching skills.
A true business partner that acts as coach, strategist as well as change agent.
Good understanding of people analytics and the value of high-quality management information.
Strong communication and influencing skills to interact with various stakeholders, particularly at leadership level.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and act as a trusted partner.
