Job Description

  • Advise clients on financial restructuring and insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.
  • Draft and negotiate complex legal documents, including restructuring agreements, bankruptcy filings, and related documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support client cases and decision-making processes.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in the professional services sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
  • Strong experience in corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency law within the professional services industry.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of professionalism.
  • A client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
