Job Description
- Reporting to: Cluster Logistics Director
- Team management: 6 people
The professional will be responsible for:
- Leading all country logistics operations with end-to-end accountability
- Managing local supplier relationships and performance against the Service Level Agreements
- Steering progress plan to improve supplier performance, when necessary
- Monitoring contract effectiveness with stakeholders and contributes to suppliers' selection
- Ensuring the operations are conducted properly, according to processes, standards (including safety and security), and customer requirements
- Continuously seeking to improve performance of operations, customer and employee satisfaction
- Representing the company with local authorities
- Guiding the teams to set objectives, aligned with the objectives of the entity
- Creating an environment, with pairs, that encourages empowerment, collaboration and autonomy for direct team and among teams
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree from reputable universities, master degree is a plus
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience gained in supply chain/logistics area is a must
- Background working within multicultural organisations coupled with team management responsibility is a must
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Solid analytic and operational excellence approach
- Fluency in English is a must
