For Our Client: A global leader in the building automation industry, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Country Manager.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase market share and drive growth in the Polish market. The ideal candidate will lead the local team, foster a culture of innovation, and establish strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

As the Country Manager, the chosen candidate will define and execute the overall strategy to create successful long- and short-term growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include developing products, growing profitable equipment sales, executing world-class installation and service offers, and optimizing internal efficiency.

Job Description

  • Accountable for the operational management of P&L, balance sheet, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Translate business strategies into tactical plans and operational objectives, fostering commitment and enthusiasm for achieving results.
  • Responsible for the daily operations, growth, and profitability of the organization.
  • Drive and enhance activities aimed at accelerating growth and profitability.
  • Increase sales of equipment and services.
  • Oversee the entire value chain, including Sales, Installation, and Service functions.
  • Streamline organizational processes to minimize complexity while establishing clear responsibilities.
  • Identify opportunities and risks that may affect the success of the business and service delivery.
  • Inspire, lead, and develop the management team to cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Initiate and manage collaborative activities by proactively targeting key accounts and developing specifications.
  • Implement performance management practices to ensure timely target setting, execution, follow-up, and necessary corrective measures.
  • Provide monthly reports during business reviews.
  • Uphold the highest standards of business ethics and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

  • A relevant university degree in Engineering is required.
  • Extensive experience in a global corporate environment, particularly within an international matrix reporting structure.
  • A solid background in B2B sales, especially in project sales involving investors and architects, is essential.
  • A strong sales mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proven capability to motivate and inspire teams, fostering an environment where individuals feel empowered to reach their full potential.
  • A proactive self-starter with a creative mindset, consistently striving to exceed personal and team objectives.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to make strategic decisions by combining analytical skills with a practical, hands-on approach to drive business success.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite is necessary.
