Well established firm with presence in over 100 countries is recruiting for an experienced Country Manager to be based in South Korea.

Job Description

  • Focus on execution of the strategy & achievement of long-term business goals
  • Develop and implement business success including the ongoing generation of revenue, via practical alignment of local operations and tasks combined with provided strategic direction, to meet the goals of the firm's purpose, mission and vision.
  • Oversee the entity of the firm in South Korea, managing the overall operations
  • Manage assigned budgets and develop related hiring plans & request for related resources to achieve the business goals
  • Partner with the Regional/Global Commercial and Business Units to achieve the stated market penetration targets incorporating the full range of products and services
  • Oversee employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture
  • Manage talent development and talent retention strategies via training, coaching and performance management

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven work experience in a similar capacity
  • Bilingual in Korean and English as this role would be focusing on the domestic market and liaison with HQ based overseas
  • Thorough understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Tertiary education in a related discipline
