Job Description

Essential Functions:

  1. Analyze financial statements, tax returns with emphasis on cashflow, profitability and liquidity
  2. Review property appraisals, environmental reports and evaluate suitability as loan collaterals
  3. Assessment preparations, interpret financial ratios and significance of various financial ratios
  4. Discuss and meet with front office staff on prospective customers, visit collateral properties
  5. Prepare department reports, order appraisals, review loan documents, approve GCMS transactions and other responsibilities as required.



Competencies:

In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  1. Knowledge of international trade finance functions, documents and procedures
  2. Working knowledge of accounting principal, property appraisals and environmental reports
  3. Basic banking practice and bank procedures, UCC and loan agreements
  4. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point office software
  5. Business writing, local rent control ordinances, Alice Act desired
  6. Ability to perform services in person from a Bank office or Branch to, among other things, access the Bank's computer systems and engage in an interactive environment with co-workers

The Successful Applicant

Travel Requirements:

Some local travel to meet with customers or visit collateral hence a valid driver's license is required

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university
  • Three to seven years of related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience



Additional Qualifications

Knowledge of real estate industry, title insurance industry a plus
