My client specializes in real estate development, acquisition, and design of mixed-use projects in urban areas of Charlotte, NC with a strong pipeline and a boutique team in place.

Job Description

The Development Manager will directly report into the Principal and have the following responsibilities:

  • Perform entitlements, permitting, marketing and construction management of existing projects
  • Procuring due diligence material, produce financial projections, investment memorandoms
  • Manage processes from land acquisitions to project completion across various asset classes
  • Oversee the entire project life cycle from start to finish and be the main point of contact for 3rd parties
  • Perform effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Development Manager will have:

  • Bachelor degree in Real Estate, Economics or related field
  • 3+ years experience in Real Estate Development, Design and/or Project Management
  • Experience in large-scale projects (Multifamily and/or mixed-use real estate)
  • Exposure to full life cycle of development projects from conception to completion
  • Proficient in underwriting, feasibility analysis, permitting and entitlements
