Job Description

  • Drive business development initiatives and develop relationship with decision-making CxO level executives at leading financial services businesses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify "net new" logo sales opportunities with potential clients in the financial services industry.
  • Own the sales cycle "origination through to closure/contract signature" working alongside Pre-Sales teams.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the financial services sector.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Manage contract negotiations with clients and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Director of Business Development should have:

  • A successful Sales background focused on selling solutions within the financial services industry from the big 4, front office and trading desks of Investment Banks, Technology/Software or Fintech.
  • Demonstrable experience in "Net New Logo" business development and client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Services orgs and a CxO network within Capital Markets.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets to drive business growth.
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
