The Director of Corporate Finance will lead strategic financial initiatives and oversee corporate funding and investment activities within the logistics industry. This role is part of the on-going and expansion of the organisation to strengthen existing finance team, reporting to the CFO directly and leading a decent sized team.

Job Description

  • Report to the CFO and lead the corporate finance team
  • Develop and implement corporate finance strategies to support business growth and sustainability
  • Oversee capital structuring, funding arrangements, and financial risk management
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting to align with organisational goals
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other key financial stakeholders
  • Conduct financial analyses to evaluate investment opportunities and strategic projects
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on financial matters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance improvements

The Successful Applicant

  • A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • At least 18 years of in house experience in corporate finance, capital markets and treasury management
  • Candidates with a logistics, transportation, commodities trading, shipping background will be a plus but not a must
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities in an diverse and international working environment
