About Our Client

Our client is a leading Private Equity Firm that has many thriving business ventures and portfolios across APAC. They are now seeking an experienced Director of Curriculum and Accreditation with a proven track record in managing WASC accreditation, curriculum development, and international school programs.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a curriculum that is aligned with the school's mission and vision.
  • Work with the curriculum and academic teams to create units of study that are engaging, relevant, and rigorous.
  • Ensure that the school's curriculum is aligned with the UbD framework and the HoMs.
  • Lead the school's accreditation process with WASC.
  • Monitor student progress and make adjustments to the curriculum as needed referencing the student achievement data.
  • Provide professional development for teachers on curriculum development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of CASEL, MTSS, WIDA frameworks for supporting multilingual learners
  • Represent the school at professional conferences and workshops.
  • Stay up-to-date on educational trends and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the UbD framework and the HoMs.
  • Experience with WASC accreditation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
