Founded in Chicago in 1913, Hendrickson have recently celebrated 50 years of operations in Australia and continue their strategic growth through the APAC region.Job DescriptionThe Director of Finance - APAC is a strategic and commercial partner to the Vice President - APAC, responsible for the planning, directing and reporting for the performance of the Region. This role will provide critical decision support over as broad range of commercial issues to meet the Division's strategic business objectives.You will oversee the running of financial and accounting systems for APAC, including statutory obligations, risk management and providing finance leadership to personnel located across the region.You will participate in the preparation of strategic objectives, develop tactical plans, and advise on the financial implications of operational and commercial decisions, in conjunction with Commercial Managers across the APAC region.You will also take the lead on a variety of projects across APAC, pertaining to systems, inventory management, warehousing, supply agreements and customer contracts.The Successful ApplicantIdeal Background: Candidates with experience in Executive Finance roles ideally from large multinational companies will be best suited to this role. You will be responsible for finance across the region, and having a critical say in commercial decision, and to be successful, you will require a deep understanding of interdepartmental dynamics, in a multinational corporation.Technical skills: You will require a broad grounding in finance and accounting, complimented with advanced stakeholder management and business partnering skills to support business strategy development and execution. Development of multi-faceted risk management frameworks is an important skill in this role.Behavioural attributes: Hendrickson are looking for an experienced and inquisitive person to lead the APAC finance function.
