The IT Director will oversee the strategic and operational management of the Technology department within a professional services group. This role requires a technology leader who can proactively support a growing business in a solutions orientated manner.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the IT department to align with business objectives and strategies.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies that enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and effective risk management practices.
  • Collaborate with other C-Suite executives to support business growth and transformation.
  • Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective technology investments.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance business operations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • A background in IT leadership at Director or C-Suite level from Professional Services firms (Chartered Accountants, Legal Firms, Solicitors or Architects). This is a must I'm afraid.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships with Partners.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing IT strategies.
  • Experience with managing technology infrastructure and systems.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable commitment to driving innovation and operational efficiency.
