The selected candidate will be responsible for developing the firm's business with Private Equity funds, both on the buy-side and sell-side, working with private equity clients.

Our client is a large international organization operating in the financial services sector. It specializes in providing investment solutions and financial advisory services to corporate and institutional clients.

Job Description

  • Develop the brand's business with private equity funds, following the model implemented in other countries of the firm.
  • Lead and execute M&A transactions from start to finish, both on the buy-side and sell-side, with private equity clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with private equity funds, family offices, and other institutional investors.
  • Identify mid-market transaction opportunities and design strategies for approach and deal closure.
  • Coordinate and oversee due diligence processes, valuation, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
  • Negotiate transaction terms and lead the preparation of key documentation (teasers, IMs, SPA, etc.).
  • Manage and mentor teams of analysts and associates, ensuring quality and professional development.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, investment forums, and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with senior management in defining the growth strategy and positioning of the boutique.



The Successful Applicant



The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in M&A, with significant exposure to private equity clients, preferably in boutiques or specialized firms.
  • Proven track record leading M&A transactions in relevant sectors with private equity clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships, originate business, and close complex transactions.
  • High level of initiative and entrepreneurial vision in M&A, with the ambition to become a partner within 2-3 years.
  • Advanced knowledge of company valuation, financial modeling, and risk analysis.
  • Strong network within the private equity ecosystem.
  • Fluent English (mandatory); other languages are a plus.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar; MBA or Master's in Finance is valued.
