The Director Operations Finance will work with Corporate HQ in Europe to ensure standardization, policies, and financial strategies are being implemented and executed across 12 locations in the US and Mexico including OE and Aftermarket manufacturing plants. This position is located in North Carolina, relocation will be required. Relocation assistance is available and provided by the client.Job DescriptionProvide executive leadership in the continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives and offers recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunitiesResponsible for timely, accurate, and consistent reporting of financial information, including full monthly, quarterly and annual closing for the business unitReport to executive management customer profitability and analysis of performance of results and variance vs budgetActively participate in Executive Management Team meetings; provide updates relating to Financials and other areas of responsibility.Work with the regional CFO, Corporate leadership team and Vice Presidents of Operations to drive strategic financial decisionsOversee 8 manufacturing plants and 4 distribution centers ensuring operational finance processes, KPIs, policies and standards are being metEstablish and report against KPIs for the business units and corporateEnsure accounting policies adhere to Group PoliciesOversees the organization's risk management including establishing and improving internal controls and proceduresResponsible for the company's Information Technology function including the company's ERP system and the IT technology used for enabling business efficiencyWork as a business partner in a matrix reporting structure with Plant Controllers, Operations VPs, Directors of Finance, and othersAnalyze data and prepare presentations to leadershipOwn the finance strategy for capital expenses, special projects and new investmentsTravel to manufacturing locations in the US, and Mexico, and potentially to European headquartersThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or similar requiredMBA and/or CPA/CMA highly preferred10 years of experience in Controllership and Operations Controllership roles within the manufacturing industryMinimum 3 years of experience is a Sr. Financial Leadership positionMust have Automotive industry experienceMust have experience and familiar with SAPAbility and proven track record working with various departments - sales, finance, accounting, HR, engineering, manufacturing, etc.Proven track record of developing and implementing operational improvements to increase revenues, decrease costs and improve cash flowBusiness minded and strong team player mentalityStrong communication skills written and verbalLanguages skills in Spanish or German - very helpful but not required.Strong work ethic and high attention to detail with a passion to win and positively influence a company cultureWhat's on OfferCompetitive base salary $160,000 - $180,000 depending on experience, bonus, full benefits, relocation assistance (if needed) 401K, vacation, holidays.
